Potentilla tanacetifolia Schur. is a perennial herb between 10-55 cm tall in the Rosaceae family. In Mongolian it is called Maralzgana navchit gichgene, and in English Tansyleaf Cinquefoil. The stem and leaves are used for treating blood disorders and in several traditional recipes. Bioactive compounds are antihypertensive, spasmolytic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial.
