Potentilla anserina (Rosaceae family) is a perennial herb with creeping stems and solitary small (1-2 cm) yellow flowers which prefers damp soil. The herb part is used treating hemorrhages, diarrhea, hemiparesis, headache and fever, with chemical constituents that increase antibacterial activity and stimulate the digestive tract. It is used in two traditional Mongolian medicinal recipes.
