Lysimachia maritima is a perennial herb native to the temperate northern hemisphere also known as Glaux maritima. It tends to grow in marshier, wetland areas. The roots of the plant are edible once cooked. Other species of this genus are used in East Asia to treat digestive disorders, and to treat wounds.
